Roi Johnson, an Executive Strategic Consultant with PP&A Corporation, boasts more than 40 years of experience in Human Resources across several industries, including communications, pharmaceuticals, and textiles. With PP&A he has sought to leverage the company’s narrow areas of expertise to provide broad involvement in varied industries where the need for dexterity is at a premium.  Roi has served in executive roles with both Chipman-Union, Inc. a leader in the hosiery industry, as well as the Russell Corporation, a leading manufacturer of athletic apparel. He was on the frontline in breaking aged legacy systems and bringing innovative perspectives that helped shaped leadership thinking where employee empowerment was necessary to remain competitive.  

 

Roi has been frequently called upon to address varied industry audiences to lend his insight into how to “do more with less” when the culture of corporation values the human contribution at every level. He guided organizations to continually promote communications engagement and foster labor-management mutual trust. Roi has also served as the Managing Director of INROADS/Atlanta, Inc., a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the mission of identifying, developing, and placing high potential minority collegians in internships that prepare them for corporate and community leadership.  

 

He prides himself on his broad experiences that have on the same day had him making presentations to executive leadership teams of some of Atlanta’s multinational corporate giants, and later teaching bible study in a rural Georgia Baptist church where the least of these deserves both his time and attention.    He has served on numerous boards of directors of organizations that lift the plight of members of the human family from where they are to where they have the potential to be.  Some of his board memberships include the Boswell Hospital Foundation, Clergy and Laity Concerned, Inc., and the Boys & Girls Club, just to name a few.
